Movement: I can pretty well count on him having a dance party when I lay down to go to sleep. I got nervous last week because I wasn't feeling him as much as I had previously, but then he started with the night time dancing again and I felt better. The baby moving is both the best part about being pregnant and the most nerve wrecking when you suddenly don't feel him!
Pregnancy Symptoms: Weirdest thing to develop this week. My chest looks like a highway back of blood vessels! They aren't popping out like varicose veins, they are just VERY visible through my skin. I'm not sure if it is because my skin is being stretched thin across my chest or because of the excess blood being carried (or a combination of both) but it looks freaky! I have also started having some acid reflux when I'm not drinking enough water. Other than that, wedding ring is on, shoes still fit, and belly button is still an outy.
Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well. I have to go to the bathroom most nights once and I have to turn to a new position about 3 or 4 times. However, I am blessed with the skill to fall asleep quickly so I can fall right back to sleep in no time.
Craving: French Fries from the Cafeteria with paprika seasoning (if any of my students read this, a box of fries might get you bonus points on your next test), Chex Cereal, Mangoes, Strawberry Popsicle, LT-Bruschetta, and Bananas
Aversions: The salad with the onions that look like cabbage in it at Jarritos... I'm allergic to Onions...
Workouts: Pretty weather has made me want to be outside instead of in the gym. I have been taking Macy for a walk every day! We have gone 9 out of the last 10 days. Some times it is a quick 20 minutes walk, but we have had a few 1 long strolls around the neighborhood. It has definitely helped with my back pain. I made it to the gym 4 times in the past 2 weeks. I had one really good arms day, 2 good leg days, and one day where I could barely get off the yoga ball. On days like that I just make the best of it and work on my Kegels.
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new. I am still experimenting with my pre-maternity clothes to see what I can fit in still and what looks cute vs. what makes me just look plump. Here are three looks that I put on Instagram this past week. Nothing in these pictures is actual maternity clothes besides the black leggings in picture #3.
