Size of Oliver: I wish there was a way I could tell for sure how heavy and how long he is, but for now I will just have to speculate. The internet's best guess is around 4 3/4 lbs and 18 inches long.
Weight Gain: 19 lbs.
Movement and Placement: He is starting to move less due to his cramped quarters, but when he moves it is clearly visible through my skin. My stomach looks like a moving crater at times! The last doctor's appointment they confirmed that he was head down. The doctor said that the likelihood of him turning around is slim now that he is in the right position. Let's hope he is right.
Pregnancy Symptoms: Lots of Acid Reflux. I am taking tums occasionally to help but they do minimal good. The pain in my ribs is gone- Hallelujah! I have developed a few little stretch marks on my milk producing organs, but other than that, things seem to be stabilizing a bit. Still no swelling which I am so very thankful for. I have started needing to go to the bathroom more often finally. I haven't had bad bladder problems thus far.
Sleep: Other than having to use the bathroom during the night occasionally, I am sleeping fine. Last night I was the middle spoon between the dog and the cat which worked like having two cuddle support pillows!
Craving: Freezer Pops, Klondike Bars (I was dying for them so I bought a back of 6. I ate 1 and now I don't want them anymore... lucky for Macy I suppose), Mangoes, Tomatoes with Mozzarella, and Crispix cereal.
Aversions: Fresh Vegetables :( They just look so gross to me these days. I actually held my nose to eat a carrot the other day. This is totally not normal for me!
Workouts: I spent 2 days last week at Gold's Gym as a visitor and absolutely loved it! I spent one day in the weight room and another swimming laps in the pool. I will be joining there as soon as possible! Other than that though, this has been the view of my workouts.
Maternity Clothes: I found an awesome find the other day that I scooped up. A pair of Motherhood Maternity Grey work pants for $4.99!! They are super comfy and definitely needed. I was getting sick of wearing the same 2 pairs of pants every week.
Baby Products: We finally started working on the nursery! We spent my Spring Break assembling items and just getting things washed and organized. We still need to move the rest of the furniture from South Carolina down and get things hung on the walls, but it was nice to get started. Macy spent a good hour in there sniffing and checking everything out!
Favorite Moment of the Week: Watching Domenic play with my cousin's daughter! He sat in that doll house for a solid 30 minutes playing house before burying coins in the dirt and helping her dig for treasure. I definitely heard a few "Do you want to play super heroes or with some wrestling action figures" lines dropped that were promptly shot down. Good thing we are having a boy!
