This is a bit of a retrospective post seeing as how I am no longer 38 weeks pregnant! I made this post the day before he was born, and I never got around to taking my bump date pictures or posting this! However, with limited time to blog right now, I don't want a blog post to go to waste. So in case ya'll were wondering how I was feeling and doing the day before Oliver was born, here you go...
Size Of Oliver: The fruit and vegetable commit can't decide these last few weeks who is the correct size for a baby. I am seeing everything from an eggplant, Head of Cabbage, to a Watermelon. I am going with Watermelon because that is how I feel...
Weight Gain: 21lbs. I lost a bit over the past 2 weeks
Movement: Plenty! He especially likes playing with my hip bones.
How I'm Feeling: Overstuffed. Some stretch marks are arriving and I don't have much more room to grow outward! Other than that, everything is relatively pleasant.
Sleep: Wonderful! I'm getting up once a night to use the restroom, but other than that I'm sleeping great. I love waking up to the sunshine instead of an alarm clock these days.
Cravings: Grapes and Veggie Straws
Aversions: Grilled Chicken
Workouts: Just walking and at home workouts. The move to Birmingham last week was enough workouts to last me about 2 weeks, between packing, cleaning the old house, and unpacking, I would be happy to never lift a weight on my life! I've also been walking laps at the pool and swimming to get some exercise.
Baby Items: There are very few things left that we need these days. I take that back, there is nothing that we NEED. However there are still some little things that I have wanted! Our sweet friends Derrick and Tori gave us a gift card to Babies R Us this week, so I went by to grab a few things. Here are a couple of things that I picked up. Oliver doesn't have any swaddlers so I wanted to buy one to see if he likes it. If he does I will maybe grab a few more. I hear that some babies abhor them and others can't sleep without them.
I also bought a few things to make sure that things don't get too smelly around here...
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new. Other than my maternity leggings, I actually feel like I could have survive this whole time without buying any maternity clothes. But where would have been the fun in that!
Best Moment Of The Week: 100% that would be swimming in my Grandmother's pool. After 2 full days of moving and setting up the new house, getting in that pool was better than any spa day!
