I am in a motherhood support group on Facebook and one thing I see complained about more than anything is how hard it is so get ready for the day. Putting on makeup doesn't have to be a long drawn out process that takes 30 minutes! If you are in the lookout for a fresh look in the mornings, check out this video for some makeup inspiration!
If you are a mom and want to take cute photos of your children but your iPhone isn't cutting it, this article is for you! I am going to outline exactly what you need to get yourself started as a home photographer as well as what I use to edit my photos. 2 years ago I bought my first DSLR camera and wrote a post about what I bought here. It is so cool to see how things have changed and how I have progressed! This article isn't going to deal with how to use your camera, but just what you need to get started.
I never grew up taking care of plants and the one little plant that I had in college survived for a total of 8 days before I killed it. Because of my lack of knowledge and my fatal attempt, I always told people I didn't have a green thumb. However, when my mom bought me my first house plant 2 years ago (I can't believe I've kept it alive so long!!!), I fell in love with the idea of having plants in our home.
BUT, we live in a condo/apartment right now that has made being a plant mama and gardening a huge challenge. Our apartment has a balcony with an over-hang, so our main source of light for the living room must travel a long way to hit my plants. We also have no windows in the kitchen and no shelf or counter space near the windows in our master bedroom. With limited options for plant homes, it has been difficult keeping them alive (I've already killed 2 on accident!).
Below are some ideas to help improve your apartment planting and gardening skills.
I am hitting that age where everyone I know is staring to get pregnant. I am soooo happy to have so many babies in our lives, but buying tons of baby gifts can be expensive. I spent some time (let's not kid- a ton of time) going back through all of Oliver's baby items and talking to tons of moms and have narrowed down the 30 best baby items under $30.
These are thing that every mom should need regardless of parenting style. Keep in mind, if I feel that something shouldn't be bought if it costs less than $30 (a carseat, breast pump, or crib for examples) it isn't on this list. That doesn't mean mothers don't need those things, but this is a list of smaller items that are still useful even if you don't have a huge budget.
So here you have it -- the 30 best baby items under $30.
I am 26 years old with a 2 little men and a wicked handsome husband living in Rhode Island.
