I wanted to quickly share my maternity photos for this pregnancy! I decided to take them myself with the help of my tripod and my mom and I love the way they turned out. I purchased my dress and pink wrap from Forever 21 and nothing I'm wearing is specifically maternity - just little gems I've found and made work for my growing belly. Enjoy!
I am finally writing again after taking a break to move from Alabama to Rhode Island! More updates on the move coming soon but for now I want to publish this post that I have been writing for almost 2 months!
There is so much technology on the market these days that is advertised towards parents, but what is really beneficial and what is just clutter in our lives? Here are some reviews and recommendations for technology that really can make a parent's life easier.
* Disclaimer: Some of the items in this article were gifted to me when I reached out to store about including them in our layette. I was not paid to promote any of these shops - all are genuine recommendations for shops that I love!
If you've been reading all of my baby prep posts, you know that my moto this time around is QUALITY over QUANTITY. I had my fill of buying every cute item on sale at Target during my last pregnancy and this time I just want a few quality pieces that are durable and made with love. A layette, is a selection of clothes that baby will wear their first few weeks home from the hospital.
I've scoured Etsy, Instagram, and Small Shop websites for my favorite pieces and built Baby Clark's layette without setting foot in a physical store. If you want to find some more personalized and quality pieces for your little one, here are my favorites and where to find them. You will be seeing lots of pictures of these outfits when baby gets here!
*This article is in partnership with Gugu Guru who I love and adore. All product recommendation are my own and I personally use Gugu Guru for my registry.
Building a registry is one of the most daunting tasks that some first time moms face during their pregnancy--especially if you are like me and think you need anything and everything to survive motherhood. But, the second time around it is much easier to know which products you really love and will be beneficial to your newborn. For this pregnancy, I'm working with a fantastic registry site called Gugu Guru to build a minimal 2nd baby registry. Keep reading to see what I put on that registry and why building your registry with Gugu Guru will simplify your life!
