I just got back from a weekend in Birmingham with my family in which my mother, sister, grandmother, cousins, and adopted mother threw me an amazing baby shower! This was Oliver and I's second shower and again we were just overwhelmed by how amazing our family and friends are. They blessed us beyond belief with love and hugs!
Like the bad blogger that I am, I forgot to take pictures! I have been trying to round up some pictures from people but I wish I had done a better job of capture how cute they decorated everything!
We had my favorites to eat: Chicken Salad Sandwiches and lots of fruit with blue punch! There were so many sweet touches throughout the shower! My mother had a verse to accompany each gift from my hosts, my sister sang a lullaby that she wrote, and my cousin had a tree painted and framed with a finger print from each of our family members on the branches. I can't get over how special everything was. If I didn't get pictures of everything I am sorry. I am doing my best to show ya'll how great it was!
Here are my sister and I goofing off before the party and my cousin's daughter asking "Is he still in there?!".
My mom presenting the gifts and verses from the hosts! My cousin Gabby stole the show :)
Gabby and my pastor's daughter, Kate, helped me unwrap, clean up the trash, and exhibit all of the gifts! I highly recommend having kids at a shower! They loved it and it saved me from some of the work :)
Just a little sister love :)
This is the Lullaby that Abby wrote! I am trying to memorize it so I can sing it to Oliver at night.
"Little Fingers Little Toes"
Thank you so much to all of my friends and family that traveled from far away to come into Birmingham for this. I truly appreciate it and am so glad that I got to see everyone!
