If you consider that babies use an average of 10 diapers a day for the first 5 months and 6 diapers a day for months 6-12, in the first year of his life Oliver will use around 2,912 diapers... I just peed a little bit.
I decided to start early on stock piling diapers. Here are a few tricks that I learned:
1. Registry Discounts
I registered at Target and Babies R Us before Oliver was born. Make sure to put tons of diapers on there BECAUSE when your registry ends you will get 15% (target) or 10% (babies R Us) discount cards in the mail that can be used on anything left on your registry.
2. Ibotta Rebates
Ibotta is a rebate phone app that I love!! You can get rebates on tons of items from a plethora of stores. Today I got 6 dollars back from a pack of Huggies diapers and wipes. In 2 weeks of using this site, I have earned $15 that I can redeem into my paypal account or in the form of gift cards.

Both sites have coupons that you can download and print out. I have 3 accounts on each site so I can print each coupon 3 times hehehe :) You can only use one coupon per purchase, but I want to use one every time I buy diapers. Both sites also have rewards points that can be redeemed for coupons or other gifts.
4. Coupons.com
Coupons.com also has printable diaper manufacturer coupons. These usually can't be doubled up with the coupons from #4, but it is nice if they don't have the type of diapers that you want on the Huggies or Pampers website.
5.Shopkick Rewards
Shopkicks is another phone App that I use. The app gives you points for walking into certain stores and for scanning items in the stores. After a certain amount of points, you can convert your points into gift cards. I have been using this app for 1 months and have earned $10 in gift cards to Target.
6. The Cartwheel Target App
This is an App put out by Target that allows you to upload 10 coupons at a time. This target coupon can be used on top of another target print coupon. Yesterday they had 25% off all baby boy carter's clothes. Make sure to check this before shopping at Target to see the daily deals.
7. PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER!
Today I went shopping for diapers at Babies R Us and Target. I spent $20 (after tax) on 425 wipes and 180 diapers (a $45-ish price tag). Here is how:
For the Wipes I use a $2 off coupon from Huggies.com, a $2 dollar gift card from my shops kick account, a $2 rebate from Ibotta and my 15% off card from my Target Registry. What started as $15 ended as $8
For the Diapers I used a $3 Huggies.com coupon, $6 of coupons from Shop kicks, a $4 Rebate from Ibotta, and my 10% of coupon from Babies R Us. Plus, I waited until those diapers were $3 off at the store. A $28 pack of diapers under up being about $10
You can start saving up diapers way before your little one is born!
