We love Birmingham!! We actually moved here this weekend but with the craziness surrounded in moving at 37 weeks pregnant, I haven't gotten around to talking about the move. We are all settled though and I will make sure to post about the move in the near future.
Last night, though we finally settled into some normal life in Birmingham! Dom joined a church softball team with my family so we had a perfect Birmingham Evening.
It started out with Frios popsicles in the park. Of course, Dom had to get Macy her own popsicle! She was in dog heaven.
Next we checked out the Beneful Dream Dog Park in Alabaster, Alabama. It was the coolest thing! Turf grass, obstacles, water play, balls, and tons of dogs! I felt like a mom on her kids first day of kindergarten. Would she get along with other dogs? Would she be bulled or left out? I was a nervous wreck!! Macy was SO nervous at first! She had her tail between her legs and didn't want to leave our side.
She finally ventured out for small periods of times, but she would always run back to us!
She finally was just happy to leave the other dogs alone and play with her daddy! That made his night!
It is an absolutely beautiful facility. It is a bit far from our house, but it is only 5 minutes from Dom's softball field. I have a feeling this will become a regular hangout spot.
Next we had Dom's Softball game. He played amazing! It was such a beautiful night.
Macy followed her dad with her eyes the whole time he was on the field. I can't get over how much she loves him. We had a tough loss, but I can't wait for more summer night fun!
