I know that this post is short, but after being asked some questions about Oliver's schedule from other moms, I wanted to share it here. Every child has a unique schedule, but at certain ages, there are usually some similarities. This isn't meant to be a hard and fast guide for what a 5 month old's schedule will look like, but it can serve as a guide if you want to compare two children at the same age.
Here is Oliver's eating and sleeping schedule at 5 months old. He sticks to this pretty well as long as I provide him food and a place to sleep when he needs it. Days that we are out during nap times, mess him up and make him cranky. If it is nap time you can pretty much guarantee that we will be near a bed.
Wake Up: Between 5:30 and 7 (on a great day!)
First Feeding: Breastmilk at 8:30 for 10-15 minutes
Small Nap: At 8:45 usually lasts 15-30 minutes
Second Feeding: Breastmilk at 11:00am for 30 minutes
Large Nap: 11:30-2:30
Third Feeding: Breastmilk when he wakes up from nap for about 5 minutes
Forth Feeding: 2 Tbls. Baby Puree at 3:30pm
Bedtime Routine Begins: 6pm
Fifth Feeding: Breastmilk at 6:30pm last 30-45 minutes
Sixth Feeding: Breastmilk Dream Feed around 10pm for 5-10 minutes
