I mixed 1 Tablespoon of cereal with 2 Tablespoons of pumped breast milk and then add a bit more cereal until I got the right consistency. From my years of working daycare, I have made my fair share of cereal! The smell alone brings back memories. To start off, you want the consistency to be that of like a cheddar broccoli soup. Definitely not anywhere near solid!
My plan is to do cereal for 2 weeks and then introduce yellow fruits and vegetables (banana, squash, sweet potato...).
