This post applies only to specific readers- Dog, Cat, or Horse owners in the low country South Carolina- so if this doesn't concern you feel free to read something else (like about how excited I was when America beat Ghana!)
Recently I went out of town and found that my usual dog boarder was on vacation and I refuse to leave Macy at the vet (she doesn't get to go outside hardly at all there). I got the recommendation for Glenview Farms from my neighbor and friend Corey and boy was I impressed!
Talk about the most B-E-A-Utiful dog kennels you have ever seen! Gorgeous grounds, outdoor play areas with sprinklers for the dogs to run through, marble and wood interior, etc. I almost wanted to check in there! The have cat, dog, and horses boarding facilities. For the amount of care that they take when watching the dogs, 22 a night was not a bad price. I pay 17 at her regular boarder so it was more but she had a blast I'm sure!
They offer indoor kennels, outdoor runs, and indoor/outdoor runs. I put Macy in the indoor/outdoors so she had an option of where she wanted to be. They let the dogs out a few times a day into a large play pen to run around for an extended period of time. Here are a few pictures of the place.
I'm usually not one to spend big bucks on a dog, but the staff was so efficient and friendly and they really seemed to take care of their animals. I would definitely take Macy there again.
