Push Presents are not a practice that every new father partakes in, and I'm honestly not even sure if my hubby knows what a push present is! Just in case he is thinking about one, it wouldn't hurt to give him some ideas :) Plus, it is fun to day dream over jewelry!
I'm actually copying my blogger friend from over at Marry-Mint on this post idea one. She vary wisely put it "Yeah yeah, women get this wonderful new baby from the whole birthing ordeal. But was getting a husband out of the wedding good enough? I think I recall getting a ring or two out of that major life event... ;)"
So Dom, just in case you are thinking about getting me a gift for growing the baby and all here is some inspiration :)
Bracelet: I would love something to wear with Oliver's initials on it! This cute Etsy bird bracelet and the Alex and Ani Initials bracelet are both adorable. I also like the presonal touches on this rustic copper and silver Etsy find. I'm thinking gold over silver these days... just FYI!
Necklace: Along the same theme of the bracelets, here are some adorable necklaces for new mom's that I wouldn't hate wearing every single day and never taking off...
*You can find all of these ETSY shops by clicking on their pictures
Beauty: I also wouldn't be opposed to getting my hair styled or my nails done postpartum, so gift cards to salons are never a mistake.
As materialistic as it sounds to be looking at presents for having a baby, it is all in fun! If Oliver is the only gift I get in a few months I will be more than thrilled. Looking at jewelry is just a way to pass the time as he keeps cooking and kicking.
Does anyone have any strong opinions on Push Presents??
I'd also like to take a minute to introduce you to a new blogger friend of mine! If you have 2 seconds or 5 minutes, don't waste it anymore on me, and go check out this lovely lady!
