In one 24 hour period, I spend approximately 4 of those hours breastfeeding or pumping. That is 28 hours a week- practically a part time job! One day, while using my computer to watch So You Think You Can Dance as I fed my son, I decided to find something better to do with my hours than watch every reality TV show possible.
I started researching sites that would allow me to make money during those 28 hours a week.
Below are the top 6 sites that will allow you to make money as you make milk.
Tolune is a survey site. You are rewarded points for each survey completed, and points can be cashed in for gift cards or checks. Every 45,000 points is equivalent to a $15 gift card to Target. With most surveys being worth 2-3,000 points, I estimate that it takes around 15 surveys to get that gift card. Surveys can be anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes long. The surveys are easy to do with one hand while you hold your little one with the other. I earn about $15 dollars worth of gift cards each week simply from taking surveys during breastfeeding time.
2. Sponsored Tweets
Sponsored Tweets is a site that allows you to bid for paid programs with different companies. Companies will pay between $1 and $5 for a tweet or Instagram post that promotes their products. I get approved for about one of these a week, because each company is looking for people with a specific type of follower.
3. ShopStyle Collective
This is an affiliate site that rewards you for promoting products from hundreds of brands. You can look up nearly any item, share the product on social media, and get rewarded every time someone clicks on your link. You are only paid $0.5 or $0.10 for every click, but if you have a large following, it can add up. You can only cash out every $100, which may only be once a year, but it will be a nice chunk of change when you are able to collect.
4. Valued Opinion
This is another survey site. They reward surveys with cash. Most surveys that I get are worth between $1- $3. You can cash out at $15. I only get offered 1 or 2 surveys on here everyday. Toluna allows you to take a higher quantity of surveys.
5. Loreal Focus Group
This one won't pay you money, but it can provide you with free products to test and review. That, in the end, will save you from buying makeup or haircare products on your own. I usually only get offered one of these a month.
Focus Groups is a site that pays you big bucks for participating in product testings, online studies, and reviews. This site is esier to use if you live in a large city as the big paying programs require you to come to their facility. For instance, they are currently (August 2015) running tests on diapers in Atlanta, Dallas, Cincinnati, and New York, but you must live there to participate. I have not been able to make any money here yet, but it is a great site to try. I am going to keep looking for studies that I qualify for.
