It is that time of year again. Our wardrobe still says winter, but the weather app is scattered with days of heat. I am back to relying on layers rather than trusting the fickle weather predictors! Here are 3 key points that I have been focusing on during this Indian Summer.
1. Always bring a jacket or vest but make sure what is underneath can stand alone.
Nothing worse then taking off your cute sweater to realize you do not like what you threw on underneath. Pull out your cute summer tops to wear under a jacket or sweater in case the sun shows through.
2. Bring out the sandals
I love sandals, but it isn't quite warm enough to pair them with their short short partners in crime. Wearing cute sandals with jeans and a sweater gives you a nice transitional look to hint that winter might just be over.
Side note: These sandals were an amazing ThredUP find. They retail for $107 and I snagged them for $26.49! If you have never used ThredUP before, click on this link to get $20 off your first order.
3. If you want to keep winter fashion during a warm day, add a felt hat.
Felt is notably a winter and fall fabric. Bringing it out on warm day will remind others that you still know what month it is despite your bare toes or shoulders.
