This blog post is a bit of a hodge podge of different products that have gotten the Simone stamp of approval! I get hundreds of things in the mail from companies wanting me to test and review their products. Few make the cut to end up on the blog or my Instagram. It is important to me to only promote things that I really use and love. I've made the mistake in the past of promoting things I ended up not liking and I felt awful. Now I make sure to take time to really use each item for extended periods of time before bringing them here.
With that being said, here are some current favs around our house
*some of these products were received for free, but all reviews are honest and my own.
1. Hair Mask: Arvazallia
I have tried 7 deifferent hair masks now and this one is by far the best. It smooths my hair out in no time and I can use it with my hair wet in the shower (it says to use in damp hair but I use it on wet and it works just as well).
2. Dry Shampoo: Not Your Mother's.
I have only compared this to the Garnier and Herbal Essence brands but it beat both.
3. Makeup Brushes: Elf Cosmetics
These brushes are just as good as any brush I have ever bought from Sephora or Ulta, yet they are only a dollar a piece!!! For that price I expected them to fall apart and shed hairs but I haven't had any issues with them. Will never buy any other brushes. You can find them at Target but I'm not sure where else they are avliable.
Cleaning Products: Method
I feel so safe using Method products around our house and around Oliver. I threw out everything else I owned and replaced it all with Method products. Plus they smell amazing. Their ingredients are plant and essential oil based which makes me so happy. I have used Wood For Good, All-Purpose in Grapefruit and Glass and Surface. They are available on Amazon but I founded them cheeper at Target.
You can tell by the fact that I'm letting Oliver play with the cleaner that I am confident they are safe products. I would NEVER have let him anywhere near our old cleaners.
Early Walker Shoes: Suprise by Stride Rite
The most important thing about shoes for early walkers is their flexibility. Stride Rite makes fantastic shoes but are really pricy. However, I recently found that they made a line for Target called Surprise that are MUCH cheaper! Ollie has 3 pairs of sneakers from this brand.
Genuine Kids by OshKosh
These are another example of a more expensive brand making a cheeper line for Tatget stores. His sandles are from this brand and are amazing.
Note how flexible both shoes are. That is what you are looking for in shoes for early walkers.
Rainboots: Roma Boots
Craving Hunter boots but unwilling to shell out the money for them? Check out Roma Boots. They are comparable and much cheeper! Use code Simoneplus for 25% off your order.
Well that is all I have for you right now! Let me know if you try and of these out at what you think!!
