One year closed and another begins. As much as I dislike the idea of New Years Resolutions, I do want to set some goals for this new beginning. I want to be more realistic then year long goals. Here are my goals from here until the time Oliver gets here!
|| Lift weights 3 times per week. Focus on my core, legs, and back.
|| Walk at least 6,000 steps per day (on school days). I can track my steps using my new fitness tracker that Dom got me for Christmas!
|| Read the Bible one time through in 6 months. I have a year long Bible so I will try to double up every day. I may skip a few books (Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and Numbers might be on the short list).
|| Put on between 15 and 20 more pounds of baby weight. I want to stay at 20-25 lbs. total during the pregnancy.
|| For school, my goals are to have 14 of my 16 Biology students pass the EOC (I would love to have all of them pass, but I have 2 student that told me they don't want to pass and could care less. I am trying to be realistic with myself). I also want my 16 7th grades who have Below Met Science MAP score to Meet their growth goals on the spring MAP tests.
|| Train Macy to lay down and to shake. She isn't a big fan of learning...
|| Read 3 books. Low goal but lets be honest, reading is low on the totem pole these days.
|| I have so many steps to knock off with getting Oliver's room together, but my first goal is to get these adorable pictures printed and framed!
|| Do my hair cute for work 3 out of the 5 days a week! I am aware that a ponytail does not count.
||Dust the house once a week.
On another note, I have a small obsession with pop medley mashups! At the end of each year, lots of Youtube videos surface that mashup all of the great hits (and unfortunate hits) of the year. Here were my two favorite this year!
Now off to add some steps to my counter and stock up on dog treats..
