I've scoured Etsy, Instagram, and Small Shop websites for my favorite pieces and built Baby Clark's layette without setting foot in a physical store. If you want to find some more personalized and quality pieces for your little one, here are my favorites and where to find them. You will be seeing lots of pictures of these outfits when baby gets here!
If you like babies dressed like adults this shop will make you so happy! All of their pieces are so adorable and the quality is amazing.
Crew Sweat Shirt in Heather Grey • Sweat Pants in Navy Stripes • Footy Leggings in Wine
Little Faces is the only time I purchased any clothes with little sayings like this. They make all kinds of gowns and onesies for baby announcements, gender reveals, and little/big brother and sister pieces.
Little Brother Onsie • Little Little Gown
I got Ollie some outfits from Colored Organics in the past and their fabric quality is so fantastic. Their stuff is basic and neutral which I love. I got Clark 2 pairs of their footy pajamas and this beautiful neutral onesie/top knot set.
White/Pepper Sunglasses Sleeper • lagoon/White Bicycle Sleeper • Tofu Kimono Bodysuit
I've been eyeing KB Cute Designs since Ollie was born and I'm glad I finally get to use some of their pieces. They have both an Etsy shop and a Web shop that you can buy from. The black and white plus package is actually a Boppy pillow cover! I've hated my poppy pillow print for ages but never did anything about it. Once I get everything unpacked from our move, I'll put this on and share some photos of it.
Black and White Plus Nursing Pillow Cover • Grey Striped Top Knot Beanie
All of the scratch mittens you find at the store are covered in animals or characters and just not up my alley. I'm particularly fond of these Lou Lou & Company's sweater fabric no scratch mittens that I picked up. And I had to order one super colorful thing to break up all the neutrals!
Luna Top Knot Hat • Bret No Scratch Mits
I also decided to try Beanstalk Bundles to get some of the basics like onesies, pajamas, and socks. Beanstalk Bundles is a subscription service that sends you a bundle of basics for your kids based on their age and your needs. You can do a small, bity, or big option (we ordered the small bundle-3 pajamas, 3 onesies, and 3 socks) and we got the 0-3 month sized bundle. You can also choose to do a one-time bundle if you don't need a monthly subscription! Just an easy way to get baby basics without having to drag your kids around to the store.
A baby book isn't technically a layette item, but it is for a newborn so it fits in to this post! I picked up Clark's baby book from the Polka Dot Print Shop and would highly recommend their baby books to any mom. The pages are clear and crisp and so easy to fill out. I stunk at filling out Oliver's baby book so I'm hoping the modern and simple nature of this one will help me be consistent!
A few of Oliver's hand-me-downs will be added to this pile for Clark's first few months, but I didn't walk into a single store to purchase for his Layette. So excited to share photos of him wearing his new outfits!
