Oliver loves a few things above all else - being outside, cookies, and vehicles. With me being on bedrest this past month, his dream days of playing outside with a cookie in one hand and a truck in the other have been few and far between. Everyone has been sharing their adorable back to school photos, so I wanted to capture a few of Oliver even though he won't be going to school for a little while. When we had an inkling of fall weather last week, we had to jail break and get outside for a "Toddler Fall Fashion" photoshoot. Keep reading for some toddler outfit inspiration and a look at our favorite hats from Jack and Winn.
This summer has been the best weather I've ever experienced! I knew that moving to New England meant a stark change in weather, but I was not expecting such wonderful summers. Warm during the day but cool enough at night for a light jacket with that wind coming off the water.
Some of you know the background of our home buying, but we put an offer in on this house before we had even seen it in person! My husband bought the house before I had even been to Rhode Island. All that we knew about the backyard when we made the offer was from this next picture below. The backyard has been Dom's baby, and after a lot of hard work we finally have a space that is perfect for us and the boys to enjoy this summer! Take a look for before and after photos as well as our newest finds from Sleek Modern Furniture.
I'm so happy to have worked with Sun Basket on this article. I love sharing my love for this company
The hardest thing and the thing that gives people the most apprehension about doing the Whole30 diet is the amount of work involved in preparing Whole30 compliant meals. You are making almost everything from scratch and there are TONS of vegetables to dice, sauces to make and recipes to look up. After my second round of Whole30 I decided that for sustainability purposes, I needed to find a meal service or box plan that would help take some of the leg work out of cooking the Whole30 way and I DID. The first box is only $35 if you want to give it a try!
I finally have enough done in the boy's playroom to want to share it! I don't know if I'll ever be 100% done with this room because I want it to continue to grow with them as they get older, but for right now, I'm so happy with how it has turned out. For me, a playroom is 3 things: a safe place to play, a place to store toys, and a cozy place to cuddle up and read. I feel like we achieved all three of those things with this room. Keep reading for pictures of the space, links to the items in the room, and a special 85% off code from the company that we bought the rug that really transformed the room!
I am a 26 years old follower of Jesus living in Rhode Island with my 2 little men and wicked handsome husband. I love coffee that doesn't taste like coffee, am really bad at putting on lipstick and vocally wish I could join the CIA. Now that you know a little about me, time to read a whole lot more!
