This is my favorite cookbook of all time! I rented it from the library but then went ahead and bought it because the recipes are so great. I highly recommend this cookbook just to get the juices rolling on recipe ideas.
I can't tell you the number of times I was thankful my shelves were fulling stocked with all the seasonings. Turmeric, sesame seeds, cumin, dried chives, and other less used ingredients are common in Whole 30 recipes. My two favorite all purpose seasoning are the Onion Salt and Chile Lime from Trader Joes.
Our crockpot has been through years of use and the wear and tear is showing, but that just attests to its usefulness. Cooking on Whole 30 can be tiring so try to do a crockpot meal every couple days to make it easier. One of my favorites is adding chicken with a can of Whole 30 compliant salsa and letting it cook all day! Serve over cauliflower rice. So easy and delicious.
We have a blender so I use to think a NutriBullet was just another kitchen apparatus that would take up space. I was SOOO wrong. This is the niftiest little contraption. It is so easy to clean, everything stays in one container so less dishes, and it makes cooking on Whole 30 a heck of a lot easier. You can use it to make your own almond or cashew milk, quickly dice vegetables, or make your own juices. Some Whole 30 folk will tell you not to juice but I don't ride that boat! As long as all of the ingredients meet the qualifications, I'm all about a fresh juice or smoothy. The one in these pictures is spinach, pineapple, strawberries, and fresh pineapple juice.
You can't have anything with peanuts, but other nuts are acceptable. Some sticklers will tell you to stay away from any butters, but I think having a good Cashew, Almond, or other non-peanut butter on hand helps on days you need a quick snack. Add some to bananas for a morning meal if you don't have time for eggs.

If you just Google "Whole 30 recipes" every night you will spend 2 hours looking at recipes and get nothing done! Before you start, pick 10-15 receipts that you want to try and save those. That way when you go to meal plan, you can pick from 10 recipes instead of 23102398! Here are a few that I've tried or are on my cooking list for the rest of the month.
Fish Taco Bowls • Mediterranean Chicken • Sweet Potato Hash • Chicken Salad • Lettuce Wrap Turkey Burgers • BLT Salad • Avocado Egg Salad • Turkey and Egg Breakfast Casserole
